Paint Parties
A NoLA Rising paint party is a community event designed to encourage neighborhood interaction by providing free access to creative art materials and workspaces, enabling community members to produce free-form works of art. At the events, NoLA Rising provides paint, brushes, paper, canvas and other supplies, and gives live painting demonstrations. NoLA Rising also provides mentoring and artistic guidance to children who participate at the events. The artwork created by those who attend the event is often donated to local charities and other organizations.
